About
The collaboration between Mūza Rubackytė, artistic director of the Vilnius Piano Festival, and young soloists under the auspices of the Rostropovich Charity and Support Foundation “Help for Lithuanian Children” has developed into a beautiful tradition. The young performers participated in the 1st Vilnius Piano Festival, as Professor Rubackytė has been fostering them since the foundation was established.
“We believe it is important to encourage and promote young musician at all stages of his/her development,” says Rubackytė. Although all of the young talents performing at this concert are winners of numerous national and international youth competitions, performances at a prestigious festival inspire the performers themselves, their teachers, and their parents, strengthen determination for and meaning of their dedicated work, and give the audience an opportunity to see and hear the future of Lithuanian music.
