Eglė and Žilvinas is one of the oldest Lithuanian folk tales about making choice, loyalty, and the price of it all. It is a tale of love that transcends the boundary between “my” world and “your” world.

The vivid scenographic images created by renowned illustrator Gabriel Pacheco evoke a quiet, dreamlike atmosphere saturated with inner tension. The artist invites to slow down, listen, look closely, and not be afraid to feel. During the concert, young listeners will also discover the music of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis: the Čiurlionis Quartet will enrich the fairy tale with sound and open up yet another opportunity to experience how the forest, the sea, and the world in which we experience longing, peace, or anxiety sound. The performers hope that this concert of visuals and music will be a memorable experience for the young audience and will offer delightful artistic discoveries.
