About
Symphonic Fireworks for the New Year, which has already become a tradition, invites you to fill the last evening of the year with the sounds of music and to welcome the New Year in a meaningful way at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Concert Hall. The musical celebration is presented by the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra and its director Maestro Modestas Pitrėnas. This time they share the stage with Viktorija Miškūnaitė (soprano), named a sparkling diamond by Jürgen Flimm, former artistic director of the prestigious Salzburg Festival and director of the Berlin State Opera, and Gaudas Paulius Krištaponis, cellist of the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra. The programme includes the most mellifluous arias from operas and operettas.
