About

The famous Italian Baroque composer and violinist Antonio Vivaldi is one of the composers most adored by Musica Humana Chamber Ensemble. One of the audiences’ most eagerly awaited works is Vivaldi’s cycle of four concertos Le quattro stagioni (The Four Seasons) for violin and chamber orchestra, written in 1723. In anticipation of Christmas and the turn of the year, the Ensemble and a group of outstanding soloists invite you to enjoy not only Vivaldi’s brilliant and probably most popular work, but also various works by other composers that reflect the four seasons. Therefore, the segments of the concert are named accordingly – spring, summer, autumn, and winter. We will enjoy not only music but also dance; programme features works by Italian, English, French, German, Finnish, and American composers.
