About
The voices of Lithuanian, French and Polish pupils, which we will hear in the concert, invite us to make friends, get to know each other and experience the beauty of music together. After performing their own programmes, at the end of the concert, all the choirs will come together to sing Vitalij Neugasimov’s Tai – laikas taikai, tai – mūsų laikas (This is the time for peace, this is our time), specially composed for the Festival.
The 1st International Children’s and Youth Choir Festival Canticum iuvenum is a cultural exchange project managed by Vilnius Choir Singing School Liepaitės, which promotes cooperation between children’s and youth choirs from Lithuania and abroad. Canticum iuvenum is a continuation of the children and youth choir festival Friends of “Liepaitės” in Vilnius which has been held since 2002.
