VILNIUS FESTIVAL 1997
1st festival
28 May – 4 July, 1997

Musicians both from Lithuania and all the world will contribute to the Festival. The best national orchestras, choirs and soloists will participate alongside with the musical elite from many countries.

The Festival will enable us to experience the world at large and to become the centre of musical life at least for a while.

Our great wish is to present the audience the brightest programs brilliantly performed by the participants of the Festival. I hope you will give a fair judgement on the event and feel the great power of Music.
