About

It has become a wonderful tradition of the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra (LNSO) to organise an annual musical feast, in which the members of the Orchestra present themselves as soloists. The whole group of talented musicians of the LNSO demonstrate their mastery on stage by performing intriguing, rarely heard works as soloists with orchestra. This is also reflected in the title of this concert, Orchestra Zoomed In, which eventually became the motto of the concert. The members of the Orchestra, from string players to wind instrumentalists, from the first violin section to the bass section, perform accompanied by their colleagues, conducted by the Orchestra’s artistic director Modestas Pitrėnas. Thus, we invite you to get acquainted with them from up close.
