About
Admired for its compelling programmes, Čiurlionis Quartet invites you to a concert of Viennese classics, radiating light and harmony. The works featured in this concert are linked by the well-known and at the same time unfathomable key of C major.
The repertoire of Čiurlionis Quartet, one of the most renowned chamber ensembles, is extremely wide-ranging, encompassing romanticist, 20th- and 21st-century music, original classical and jazz projects, and intriguing programmes such as e/q, electronics for quartet, Horrible Music, The Fast and the Furious, etc. One of the Quartet’s main priorities is to promote the music of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis throughout the world, which the Quartet has been doing very intensively this year. In between tours, the Quartet invites its audiences to the cosy Chamber Hall to be inspired by the harmony of the classics and engulfed by the bright aura of C major to feel vanishing of today’s worries.
